Translating to “dry riverbed,” Arroyo Secco begins in a steep, narrow gorge at the foot of the Santa Lucia Mountain range and extends east to the Salinas Valley. With a cooler climate, the AVA straddles a gravely, dry riverbed that yields fruit with balanced acidity and tannins, contributing structure and backbone to the finished wine.
Sauvignon Blanc Central Coast
This classic Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from vineyards in the Central Coast. Here, consistently warm sunny days are followed by cool breezes from the Pacific Ocean at night, which leads to extended hang times and results in wines with great structure, round mouthfeel, and balanced acidity.
TASTING NOTES
Fresh, bright, and crisp, this pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc features zesty flavors of grapefruit and citrus with subtle herbal notes and vivid acidity. The finish lingers with minerality and hints of gooseberry and lemongrass.
