Once home to farms and cattle ranches, Paso Robles is a warm expanse of sunbaked, oak-studded hills. Due to its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, vines see consistently hot, dry days with plenty of sunshine, followed by fog and coastal influences that cool the vines down at night.
Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles
Each vintage our winemakers select a handful of lots from small family-owned vineyards in the heart of Paso Robles to craft this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon release – a bold and lively expression of Paso Robles’ finest vineyards.
TASTING NOTES
Aromas of classic red plum and dark berries make up the base of dense ripe fruit in this warm-climate Cabernet Sauvignon with added hints of graphite and cocoa. Flavors of black cherry, blackberry and dark chocolate wrap around mounds of creamy tannins that lead into a smooth and succulent candied-pecan finish.

Paso Robles

San Juan North Vineyard
Located in the San Juan District sub-AVA, this vineyard site is situated on San Juan Creek’s younger river valleys, with alluvial terraces and fans as a tributary to the upper Estrella River . Home to the Cabernet Sauvignon vines that are at least 40 years old, the vineyard produces expressive, intensely flavored fruit.

Estrella River Ranch Vineyard
The vineyard is located in Paso Robles’ Estrella District. The warm Mediterranean climate allows Cabernet Sauvignon to fully ripen, developing prominent black cherry and dark fruit characteristics over a long growing season.
